 The Commissioners Office is located in the old
county
jail at
402-A East Pine Street. The jail was built in 1905 and is on the
historical register. After the Ben Hill County Public Safety Complex was
completed, the building was renovated. Inmates from the Ben Hill County
Detention Center did the majority of the work.

The County Commissioners meet once a month at a
regularly scheduled meeting, which is the first Tuesday after the first Monday
of each month. Special meetings are called as needed.
