You may Qualify with the party of your choice for these offices at the County Commissioners meeting room April 26, 2010 starting at 9:00am and will run until April 30, 2010 at noon. The Qualifying fee for these positions will be $180.00 If you would like to obtain a copy of the qualifications for these positions please contact our office at 426-5151.

April 26-30, 2010 - Qualifying for State and Local Positions
June 20, 2010 - Last day for a political body to hold a convention for the Purpose of nominating candidates to be placed on the November General Election Ballot
June 21, 2010 - Last day to register to vote and be Eligible for the July Primary
June 28, 2010 9:00am - Earliest day for an Independent or Political Body Candidate to file a nomination petition
(Qualifying for School Board Candidates)
June 28, 2010 9:00am Earliest day for an Independent or Political body, non-Partisan candidate to file Notice of candidacy to have their name placed on the November General Ballot
(End of Qualifying for School Board candidates)
July 2, 2010 12:00 noon - Last day for Independent, Political Body, or Nonpartisan candidate to file Notice of Candidacy to have their name placed on the November General Ballot
July 13, 2010 12:00 noon - Last day for an Independent or a Political body candidate to file the required nomination petition.
July 13, 2010 12:00 noon - Last day for a political body desiring to nominate its statewide candidates by convention to file a qualifying petition.
August 23, 2010 - Last day for a person to register and be eligible to vote in the September Special Election if one is held
September 7, 2010 - Last day to file and publish a notice of intention to be a write-in candidate has been published in accordance with O.C.G.A
October 4, 2010 - Last day a person may register and be eligible to vote in the November General/Nonpartisan/Special Election and Runoff
