The Board of Commissioners provides the following services to Ben Hill County Residents:
The County Commissioners meet once a month at a regularly scheduled meeting, which is the first Tuesday after the first Monday of each month. Special meetings and workshops are called as needed.

Scott Downing is a lifetime citizen of Ben Hill County. He graduated Fitzgerald High School in 1989 and he graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BBA in Management in 1994. Scott is currently in the asset management business. He is married to the former Darchelle Jones also from Ben Hill County. |
